The rules behind the route
Hotels first, then the visa
Since 2025 the hotel contract must be recorded on Nusuk Masar before an Umrah visa is issued. Every hotel on this platform is registered, and the visa is lodged against your confirmed stay.
Passport validity
Six months from the date you arrive in Saudi Arabia, with at least one blank page.
Vaccination
A meningitis ACWY certificate issued at least ten days before travel and within the last three years is required for Umrah. Keep it with your passport.
Who lodges it
British passport holders use the eVisa, lodged by our visa desk. Nigerian pilgrims cannot apply directly; a NAHCON-licensed operator lodges the visa on Nusuk Masar against the booking.
Timing
Allow two working days for an eVisa and about ten for an agent-lodged visa, after the hotels and transport are confirmed. We will not take a booking that leaves too little time.
